During this time of uncertainty due to COVID-19, we want our patients to know that your health and safety is our #1 priority. We strictly follow OSHA guidelines for room and equipment disinfecting. Following each visit, we make sure that any common spaces and surfaces are fully sanitized, as well as each and every surface in the exam room between patients. Fresh masks and gloves are always used between each visit.

In addition to the safety measures already in place, we will now be using a non-contact infrared thermometer as another precaution to prevent the spread of COVID-19. All patients will have their temperatures taken upon entering the building, and staff will have their temperatures taken daily. Any patient with a temperature of 100.4 degrees F or higher will be asked not to enter, given a mask, and asked to reschedule their appointment. Any staff member with a temperature of 100.4 degrees F or higher will be sent home. We recommend that anyone presenting signs of a fever or other symptoms call their primary care physician to seek medical treatment. If any employee or a patient is not feeling well, we are asking them to stay home and self-isolate. If you have a scheduled appointment and are not able to come, please call and let us know.

We are open for all scheduled appointments, and we are also still taking new patients. If you have any questions about your procedure, if your situation is urgent, or if you have a simple question, please don’t hesitate to call us. We will advise you on our recommended action.

When you come to your appointment, we ask that you do not bring additional family or friends with you. We would like to keep the number of people in the office to a minimum. If the patient is a minor, we ask that only one parent or guardian come with them.

Thank you for your continued support of Carolina General & Cosmetic Dentistry. We hope that you and your family continue to stay healthy and safe during this time.
